Baihetan Hydropower Station
The Baihetan Hydropower Station is a hydroelectric facility located on the lower reaches of the Jinsha River, at the border between Ningnan County in Sichuan Province and Qiaojia County in Yunnan Province. With a total installed capacity of 16 million kilowatts and an average annual generation of 62.443 billion kilowatt-hours, it is the world’s second-largest hydropower station, surpassed only by the Three Gorges Project.
