Analysis of the bending resistance and design requirements of compensators
The direct-buried bellows compensator is mainly suitable for axial compensation and has super strong bending resistance. Therefore, the influence of pipeline sinking is not considered. The direct-buried bellows compensator shell and guide sleeve are protected to achieve free telescopic compensation. Other performances are the same as ordinary bellows compensators.

The direct-buried bellows compensator shell and guide sleeve are protected to achieve free telescopic compensation. Other performances are the same as ordinary bellows compensators.
Installation precautions:
1. In order for the direct-buried bellows compensator to play a compensating role, fixed brackets must be set at both ends of the compensator to prevent the pipeline from moving outward and stretching due to the internal pressure thrust.
2. One end of the direct-buried bellows compensator (referring to the dead end of the direct-buried compensator for unidirectional compensation) should be close to the fixed bracket at one end, and the live head of the compensator should be used to compensate the pipeline.
3. The distance between the two fixed brackets is set according to the compensation amount of the direct-buried bellows compensator. The compensation amount is generally not greater than the pipe diameter.
4. During the pressure test, the direct-buried bellows compensator shall not be stretched.
The angular compensator consists of a compensator pipe, a bellows and a pair of hinges connected to the pipe. It can only absorb angular displacement in a single plane. Two or three angular compensators should be used in combination to absorb displacement, and the hinge should be able to withstand internal pressure thrust. Working temperature ≤420℃, fatigue life 1000 times.
Requirements for pipe rack design:
Angular compensators should be used in groups of two or three to absorb the lateral displacement of the pipeline. Only one lateral compensator or a group of angular compensators is allowed to be installed between two fixed pipe racks for Z-shaped and L-shaped pipe sections. At this time, the axis of the plane hinge pin must be perpendicular to the plane formed by the curved pipe section (universal hinge compensators are not subject to this restriction). For pipe sections equipped with a group of hinge compensators, the gap ε of the plane guide frame can also be calculated according to the above formula. However, the length L should be the distance between the hinge axes of the two compensators, and △X is the thermal expansion of the entire vertical pipe section.
